Santa Monica-based effects wunderkinds and Hydraulx co-founders The Strause Brothers and Brett Ratner are among the producers.
They are joined by Artina’s Matthew Chausse, Bob Salerno and Naomi Despres, as well as Hadeel Reda and Red Sea Media.
Alex Gillis, the creature designer on Ender’s Game and the X-Men films, will direct the story of a deep space safari guide who strives to avert a civil war after extremists attack her group.
Red Sea Media chief Roman Kopelevich is in Berlin to tout the sci-fi project.
