Josh Duhamel & Greg Kinnear Headline Action-Thriller ‘Off The Grid’, Pic Gets Interim Agreement — AF

EXCLUSIVE: Josh Duhamel (Transformers franchise) and Oscar nominee Greg Kinnear (As Good As It Gets) are set to lead cast in action-thriller Off The Grid, which Red Sea Media is launching for world sales at the AFM this week.

In the film, a scientist (Duhamel) steals an experiment and hides off the grid in Europe to prevent it from becoming weaponized. His former research partner (Kinnear), along with an extraction team, is sent in to find him and locate the missing experiment.


Directed by Johnny Martin (Hangman), pic is being produced by Luca Matrundola and Richard Salvatore and is executive-produced by Red Sea’s Roman Kopelevich.


The film, which has a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement, is currently in pre-production with a shoot scheduled for January 2024.


The sales rights deal was negotiated by Roman Kopelevich on behalf of Red Sea Media and Adam Rosen on behalf of the filmmakers.


Producer Richard Salvatore (Ritual Killer) stated: “After working on this project for years with my good friend, Johnny Martin, I could not be more thrilled and excited to see the level of talent that have signed onto this project. I couldn’t pick a better team to enable the quality of this movie to come to life.”


Duhamel is best known for roles in the Transformers franchise and will next be seen in movie Not Without Hope. Kinnear is best known for his Oscar-nominated role for Best Supporting Actor in As Good As It Gets, as well as turns in Little Miss Sunshine, You’ve Got Mail and Invincible. He can currently be seen in season two of Shining Vale on Starz.
